Letting Go of Fear: A Practice of Trust, Love, and Thank You
There’s a moment—right before something important—when fear likes to show up. It might be just a flicker, a quick thought: What if this doesn’t work out? What if I’m not ready? What if I fail? That moment of holding back can be so subtle. But it’s powerful enough to keep us from speaking our truth, starting the project, booking the retreat, making the change.
I’ve been thinking about how often fear takes the wheel—not because we’re broken or weak, but because it’s trying to protect us. Fear isn’t the enemy. It’s a part of us that learned to be cautious in order to stay safe. Sometimes it’s the voice of our younger selves, the ones who didn’t yet know they had tools, wisdom, or support. Fear is just trying to do its job. But the truth is, we’re not in the same place anymore.
So this month, I’ve been asking: What if we stopped fighting our fears—and instead acknowledged them with compassion? What if we could say, “Thank you for trying to keep me safe, but I don’t need you in this way anymore”?
I invite you to notice when fear comes up—not with judgment, but with curiosity. Pause for a moment. Take a breath. Feel where it lives in your body. Then gently say, either out loud or in your heart: I see you. I hear you. Thank you for protecting me when I didn’t know how to protect myself. And then: I no longer need this fear in this way. You can go now. I am safe. I am supported. I trust in the timing of my life.
You can ask the Creator—Source of all love—to help you release that fear fully and fill the space it leaves behind with peace, trust, and light. This doesn’t mean the fear won’t ever visit again—but the more we meet it with love instead of resistance, the less tightly it holds on.
If you’ve been feeling stuck lately, or like you’re holding yourself back because you’re unsure of what comes next—I just want to remind you: you’re not alone. Fear often shows up right before a breakthrough. Right before we grow into something new.
And if you’re ready to go deeper, to understand why certain fears keep showing up in your life, and how to release them once and for all—for your highest and best—I’d be honored to support you in a 1:1 ThetaHealing® session. Together, we can uncover the root of the fear and call in a new energy of trust, clarity, and freedom.

Let this be your invitation to release what no longer protects you. To thank the fear for its role, and then let it go. You don’t have to carry it any further.
With love,
